  This is my first e-news to you as Chapter Chair.  Barbara "retired" at our Annual Meeting and I started my two year term.  I would like to thank her for her contributions to the chapter over the last few years.

  Sat., December 15. Hike Quabbin Reservoir. Join for this fast pace 7 mile hike at the Quabbin Reservoir along scenic trails. 
   
  Sun., December 16. Hike Coldbrook. Hike the Coldbrook area as only insiders do. 8 Mile circular hike starting at Old Coldbrook Road parking lot 
   
  Wed., December 19. 3rd Wednesday. Status: Open. 3rd Wednesday Social & New member Orientation. 
   
  Thu., December 20. Monthly dinner Arturo's Ristorante, Westborough, MA
   
  Fri-Sun., December 28-30., Cardigan Lodge and High Cabin Winter Weekend
   
  Sat., December 29. Dinner First Movie Second. Vinny T's, Worcester, Movie TBD.
   
  Sat., December 29. 2 for 1 Winter Hike. Bag 2 4000'ers in 1 hike. Mt. Hancock and South Hancock, 9.8 miles.
   
  Sun., December 30. New & Prospective Mem. Hike-Trout Brook Reservation-Holden.
