HI guys,

Here are some interesting conservation programs in the community.

The park clean-up in honor of Earth Day brought over 100 people including
many students from local colleges.  Sounds like a day of success for sure!

programs.

*April 29 at 2:00* -  Nature writer Ted Williams will present a program on
backyard nature.

*April 29 at 7:00 p.m*. - Slide presentation of "An Inconvenient Truth" by
Mark Durrenberger.

*May 2 at 7:00 p.m*. - Lance Platt on a discussion of solar panels and their
effect on global warming.

*May 23 at 7:00 p.m*. - Rep. Karyn Polito and Eric Friedman , the state
director of sustainability, will talk about ways to make Massachusetts a
green state.

*May 29 at 7:00 p.m*. - Auto engineer Gille Labelle will talk about
automobiles and global warming with emphasis of hybrid cars.
