Can you help out leading a trip at Wells State Park?  The trip is in Sept
(see details below).   Wells State Park is located in Sturbridge, just a
short ride from Rt 20.   It's a beautiful park and has many options for
hikes.    I would consider the trails easy.

Can you send this out to our hike leaders.   This is helping to lead hikes
as part of this event.
Fairly easy local hikes oriented to families.  Good opportunity for us to
get out there and create
visibility.

If people are interested in helping to lead a hike they should contact Barb

 Barbara,
Thank you for your interest in participating in the Sept 30 Ma. Outdoor
Expo.  My wife explained what Erin and others did last year.  This year we
have an opportunity to expand AMC participation to include short trail hikes
in Wells State Park.  Wells abuts the event site, and we will have a police
detail to assist with getting groups across the road from our site to Wells
.  Our thinking is that a hike every 30 to 45 minutes between 10 am and 3 pm
would be adequate.
We estimate last years event participation at 4,000 youngsters ! And do to
increased media interest we expect more this year.
