[Ymers] Volunteers Needed for Saturday Park Cleanup & Other important stuff by me

Hi Everyone,

Anyone want to contribute toward others?  Join AMC-ers for the second Urban
Park Cleanup.  *See below for details*....last cleanup had over 100 people
including a few government officials.  Consider pitching in!

*Other stuff*:
FYI--there will be *no* YM Planning Meeting in July so leaders/coleaders/and
those who care to be involved.....start planning for September!  Fall is a
great time to hike & bike.  E-mail chairs in order to make sure events are
spread out throughout the month and we don't end up with 3 day hikes on the
say day!  To make the magazine, trips should be entered into the system by
the 15th of July.

*Chairs*:  please make sure our standard events (First Friday socials,
Monday Night Hikes, etc. are taken care of).  Consider coordinating some
combos....Tim had mentioned a combo apple picking & day hike.  Please try to
have coleaders so we have back ups if the leader needs to back out in case
of emergency.  Coleaders are required for big trips (e.g. White Mts) and
should be used for all hikes.  Thanks guys!

Minutes to last month's meetings should be coming out soon...we had some
technical issues.

Happy July 4th for those I don't see....check out our July 4th
social....it'll be wild & crazy for sure and completely NOT in the woods!!!!

Sat., June 23. #2 Urban Park Cleanup Series. Status: Open. *** NEW
DATE *** June 23 (was May 26). Adopt-A-City-Park Series Morning
Fun/Work time in Worcester. Volunteers needed to help "clean up our
own backyard." Tools and protective gloves supplied. Worcester-area
park TBD. Dress for weather. Optional lunch social after. For further
details please contact leader to participate. Leader: Mary MacDonald,
